I’m currently completing formal studies in Counselling and am wanting to specialise in DBT/CBT modalities. This course jumped out because of the presenters qualifications (which is everything in therapy/counselling). It’s the credentials of the presenter that interest me. Notwithstanding, the level of presentation is similar as if attending a seminar/workshop. The level of information/education offered in this course, is current, logical, practical, and has elements of tacit learning, and all of it is applicable in a face-to-face therapy session with a client. All the elements of current DBT methodology/theory are covered in this course and for any individual, whether practitioner or not, this course is invaluable. However, if you are a practitioner therapist, this course will definitely allow you to implement DBT methodologies into your current practice. In conjunction with this course, you may also want to do the Mindfulness course, which the same presenter offers, as DBT is predicated on elements of Mindfulness training, especially with DBT Skills training for clients. What a great course, and I can’t wait to go through it again, and again. Thank you.
I really liked this course.
I appreciate the way the explanations are delivered.
I also like that the instructor smiles at the end of each video.
It is very uplifting.
Lead by example, which he is demonstrating for you.
